I’m not clever enough for poetry,
Being a stereotypical guy:
A spade’s a spade in my isometry,
Not a worm’s guillotine from the sky.
Why should poems be intellectual?
So those aspiring to the bourgeoisie
Can be celebrated as cerebral
Without having to earn a PhD?
But why should I care? Ah, to hell with it!
